Description

Went out early this morning with my wide angle lens to shoot the sunrise. On my way, I got flagged down from a lady in need wanting a ride to the bus terminal. She said church people would meet down there and provided free food for the homeless and the needy. She was epileptic and under state care. I dropped her off at the terminal, wished her luck and went on my way. As for the sunrise, it did not materialize as a mass of dark clouds left from tropical depression "Cosme" covered the horizon. Well like everyone else shooting pictures, you just cant come home empty handed. My catch of the day and thank you "Cosme" for this river would not have appeared with out your added spirit. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

That's something we don't have around here, a big waterfall. Great contrast and slow shutter speed capture of the water coming down and hitting the surface below.

Bummer on missing out on a Sunrise, but this is a beautiful capture that more than makes up for it. The sun will rise again, but who knows if you'll be by this location again. :)

Excellent waterfall capture, Eroll. I'm glad to see someone is shooting waterfalls while I'm wandering around in the forest and getting blasted by pumice. :-) The shutter speed is perfect, and the plants provide the scale we need. Well done, my friend. Very nice touch linking to Cosme's gallery instead of hurricane pics. I just noticed your good deed was on upload 666. Some might think that's significant.
