Description

Creaky wooden floors,pot belly wood stove, this particular store is located in Alburnett,Iowa. Called Bucky's general store. As a child I used to walk down main street and buy .10 candy from a barrel.

I love it and jealous of you being able to take pictures of it.I found an old hardware store before but had been closed for 20+ years with all the stuff still there.the owner died in a chair there and his son has not touched it

Very nice shot here. If you use photoshop, select all, edit pulldown, transform, distort, all pull at the corners until you have straightened the shot. You can also use rotate. This would also rid the photo of the white lines in the bottom left and right bottom. Very nice though.

Ok ok! You have me jealous now.. I'd LOVE to be able to visit a place like this, I just LOVE these nostalgic places... I don't think you can find as much character in new shops as you have captured in this photo. I can picture the store owner saying here comes lil Cathi for her .10 candies lol Well done :)

Glenn 23, thank you for the tip. Actually I put a white boarder around this photo so that is why you are seeing it at the bottom and the right side of the photo. I should have taken more to time to use the crop tool and you would not see that. Sorry my friend....LOL!~ Warmth to you
