Description
This image was shot in the furnace room at the Mt. Washington Grand Hotel - the hotel Steven King's "The Shining" was based on. This type of scene is perfect for using hdr techniques, not only because of the industrial feel, but also because there was only one light available here. Unless you feel like carrying a thousand dollars worth of lighting with you wherever you go, you might consider adding hdr techniques to your arsenal.

AH - I love this shot. More so for tall of the interest in it. I do think the white is a touch over exposed, ut you know what it adds to the scare appeal. Really the image might suck without it. I'm sure you tried both versions thou? MMMM, do you mind while I drool on my keyboard? Seriously, I like it that much, at least you know I would say if I thought it was shitty...

Absolutely wonderful! I love that I can read the phrase on the big pipe, definitely adds realism to this great scene.
