Well, in my opinion this should of been entered into the photography contest "Textures"... A lot going on here and every bit interesting and beautiful...

Byte Me, I agree. This and copperboy's "Hidden Nook" would've given each other some stiff competition. And Bev, where did you find such interestingly colored rocks? I don't think I've ever seen such red/orange rocks as those before.

This is really nice. Very colorful and dynamic. Hard and delicate. It would be interesting to know what the red stuff is. Looks brighter than iron. Could even be organic?

We just had the wettest Febuary on record, I couldn't get out to take this kind of shot for the contest, sigh : ( I'm pretty sure it is iron, & it really is that bright!

Great work, Bev! The water looks so special....it's not even moving. Just the opposite of all those waterfall shots - love the way the water looks like plastic, completely frozen, like the stones are wrapped up in plastic. =)
