Description

This is a rework of an earlier Image, done approx. a year ago. I knew at the time I wasen't finished with it...but I didn't know why. I think I'm finally content with this result. Thank you for taking the time to look and comment. I have been "away" for awhile, and I must say, I completely LOVE the New Rendo!! Absolutely OUTSTANDING!! :-)

I agree with you Greg, this is much much better and the final result is outstanding, from the water to the surface and sky. Beautiful work!!!!

Wonderfully vibrant colours; good enough to take into Painter, convert it into an oil painting, and mount it on the wall. Well done.

A nice render. Be careful with the end of the terrain on the right side (the strange part between the little islands and the grey horizon). Very nice settings used for the sky and atmo colors.

Awesome sky....I agree with Tiwi about the terrain edge issue...(Hint... Lower the cloud height and increase density to help with this...Fog is your friend)

Thanks so much for your nice comments and positive feedback. Honestly, I'm real familiar with "end of the world" syndrome. What I see, that some of you with real sharp eyes are seeing, is where I had done some "not as good as I would have liked", clone work, in taking out one of the rocks in the water on the right side that I just didn't like. The difference in the color of the water, from there to the horizon, is actually the colors the original water rendered at, with that atmo setting. I tried some different atmos, where the water color was uniform to the horizon, but the Image just lost everything in the detail I was looking for. The Image has been contrasted, color enhanced, sharpened and some slight curve put on it, some clone work, needless to say, and some postwork with the "smoke" filter in Eye Candy, to produce the "foam" around the waters edge. The original Image was also rendered at 3 meters above sea level, to give the POV of being taken with a camera. The largest rock in the Image, would be about 20 ft. high. Once again, I really appreciate the feedback and the input!! The more I can learn, what people actually see in an image, the more I can learn how to correct it next time!! OR, hide it better with more precise coloneing!! :-) ;-0 Thanks much!
