Description
A Photo from the Hollow. There are two or three places in the creek that the dogs use as swimming holes. This is one, and I loved the way the reflections were dappled by the bugs on the water. The bugs are those "walk on water" bugs that look sort of like spiders, don't know what they are called, but they are everywhere where there is water.
Thank you all who stopped to look at the last post, Unremembered, and thanks to all that left comments, too. Your thoughts are always such fun to read, so interesting, and so funny, and quite often, right on the mark!

Beautiful reflection! The bug ripples look like raindrops. I love your presentation, which highlights the reflection theme. Can't help but think about my own reflections on happy or sad events. Wish they were always as clear as in your photograph. Sometimes I have to wait for the reflection to become clear, and this happens as I become still inside and out, just like the water. Hugs, Rita! I can watch them for hours, we called them striders, I have no idea what the real name is. Love that rock in the bottom left, it looks like an egg! Had we been there Mullaney would now have it on her dresser, she loves rocks. BJ
