Description

We have all seen them on our plants, the Aphid (Aphididae) is an introduced pest that weakens the plant by draining fluid from them. They are true bugs because they have sucking mouthparts. Often you can see ants "farming" these bugs, stimulating them to get a much treasured honeydew. To get close to the 1mm bug I taped a slide projector lens to a 28-135mm Canon lens.
