Ha! Bet you thought I was done with iris pics! Nope. This was taken at Walsterway Iris Gardens in Maltby, Washington, over Memorial Day weekend. ..................... The University of Washington's colors are purple and gold. School mascot is the Husky. Fan mania is known hereabouts as Husky Fever. Now given those tidbits of information, I'm sure you can figure out where I got the title for this image! I've not seen a red and white iris, or I would post one called "Go Cougs" for my friends in Eastern Washington! That would be the Washington State University Cougars. Big rivalry. Apple Cup. Lots of yelling. I have to give equal time to both sides, because I have friends and family in each camp, and have learned . . .
