Description

This is a tweaked version of my render "The Librarian." I wanted more light on the books and a better sense of space, so I simulated a building around all those bookshelves. The windows were made in Hexagon. Thanks for having a look.

Acession can be fun even for a philosopher. When you have that many you finally can se the shortcomings in things like general purpose computing. Wow! there are hundreds of English primers and dozens of arithmetic texts but no books on engines at all. Myriad illustrated books on butterflies and none on early scientific instruments. Maybe the archive across the street will have the unpublished letters and the journals of the societies. If it seems like I am in the rare book room at the Library of Congress after using SCORPIO, maybe I am. I know there are more books because the studys done by the Library of Congress refer to them. Even the NIH and DOA don't have the items, nor the National Archives so we come to this image of a private collection.

My idea of heaven! Love this rework, windows and a little more light change the whold feel of this image. The other was much more mysterious, suggesting perhaps paranormal things going on in the darkness. This however is much more inviting and conducive to exploration and reading.

Great feeling of enormity and cathederal acoustics in this Aaron, like a pin dropped could sound like thunder. Excellent perspective and render.
