Description

I bought some roses the other day. This one was on it's way out even before I had chance to play a part in it! But, I liked the way it looked... The fact that it was so 'young' yet ageing. So I kept it, let it die a little more and snapped away! Yep, wanting to be different. Ok, I like velvety roses etc, but so does everyone else! I had to do the blackout the hard way, pixel by blinkin pixel... My CS3 isn't working atm, so no magic lasso :( Thank you for all your comments on my other uploads, they are all appreciated. I may return to French architecture tomorrow... Tracey

Loads of detail in this Tracey, full size is like "hit me the eyes". Hard work pixel by pixel but a pretty good job done, bad news re CS3, I'm still trying to get a serial number for mine, they sent the prog and no number.

Very cool! I don't usually like pics of dead flowers, but this one is phenomenal! Really nice work. You have more patience than I do! If my program was on the blink, I'd just wait. (I tried the magic lasso after you mentioned it, but went back to the regular one. It must be better in CS3, 'cause your results are great! In PS6 the magic isn't all it should be.)

Interesting flower decay - I've been thinking of doing something similar. Fantastic shades and details here Tracey!
