Looks fine as it is; she stands out well against the neutral background. Bad hair? Looks ok to me (but as a mere male I expect to be told I don't know about these things ...)

Well to me it also looks very good as it is, but to 'quote A_Sunbeam' i'm also a guy who cannot understand the way women think or see things in life so ... :-)
