Well Dirk you know about what I said in my IM. Sorry to see you go my friend. I dont comment to get comments because I dont really give a rats ass if someone comments on my work or not. I do this for fun and not for others aproval. Yeah I have many friends here like you who say my work is good but I see a novice posting what some call art I call playing around. To be honest I never post on an image were someones flaws in their work . I IM them and tell them. Because I dont want to seem like I am ripping up their work in front of others. That is just how I am and I just dont have the time to do that right now. It took me a long time making friends here and they are the main people who comment on my work. I do agree that there are people who do the I will comment on a 1000 and get a thousand back. But that is not me and you should know that. I comment on your work for 1 we are friends here 2 you really do fantastic work.Like I said who am I to knock anything you do for you are a far better artist than I will ever be. Hope you change your mind and stick around for I will miss you and your art.Peace Bobby

I think we're all learning digital art and so doing mistakes and umperfection, but you can find beauty in umperfect art as well. What I love in your style is not the perfection but the soul I can feel under the forms, lights and colors. Your work is very unique, such as so many here, not getting as much comments as it could but what's the matter ? You're doing art for art, not for comments (even if comments can lead you to go on or givin up). I will be sorry not to see your art anymore.

There are so many great artists here, I haven't seen them all yet. I guess you were one of them. If I don't leave a comment, I've probably added the artist as favs. Sorry I missed seeing your work.

Hallo, also zu erst möchte ich wirklich mal sagen, dass mir Deine Aktion wirklich Tränen des Lachens in die Augen getrieben hatte. Dies ganze mal so deutlich in Wort und Bild zu setzen war wirklich mal an der Zeit ;-) Ich kenne das "Comment and Vote" Spiel auch, und ich nehme nie daran teil. Auch ich habe trotz guter Bilder wenige Kommentare und meine Bilder befinden sich nur bei ein paar Ausgewählten in deren Favoritenliste drinn. Ging Früher nur das Art-Chart-Game zwischen ein paar Votern los, hat die neue ReRo Software nun auch noch die gleich sichtbaren "meiste Votes" und "meiste Comments" eingebracht, und eigentlich erst seit dem ist hier doch die Kacke so am dampfen. Sieh es objektiv, und Du wirst merken, dass die wenigen hier noch verbliebenen wirklich guten Digital-Artists, gar nicht in den Art-Charts sind (siehe z.B. Oliver Amberg oliveramberg)und auch nicht mit 100 Kommentaren glänzen. Ich habe mir mal Deine Kommentare unter Deinen Bildern angeschaut, und eigentlich sehen da doch die Art von Kommentaren die Du gerne haben möchtest: Individuelle Aussagen meist mit kurzem Bezug auf Dein Bild und keine "wow she is beautyful" copy and paste Dummies. Darum, warum schmollen? Lass doch die Artchartler links liegen und mache weiter Dein Ding und freue Dich über die wenigen jedoch ehrlichen Kommentare. Du willst doch nicht wirklich " "Queen" of Renderrosity" werden und mit süsslichen Handküsschen täglich Gott und der Welt ein Bildchen widmen müssen, bevor Du selbst 400 Bilder copy and pasten gehst damit Dir das Krönchen bleibt, od´r? Wahrscheinlich willst Du auch nix von deinen argen Depressionen in die Welt schreien, und 100 private messages schreiben über die Ungerechtigkeit der Welt und ganz besonders dir gegenüber damit Dein Name mal wieder auf eie Favoritenliste fliegt. Und selbst wenn Du dann die Nr.1 sein würdest, würdest Du nur feststellen das es dafür weder ein Gutschein für den Shop noch ein Dankeschön gibt.Dafür aber eine Heerschar Neider, die dich dann mit 200 privanten Messages wieder hintenrum anpinkeln gehen. Spar Dir also den Zeitaufwand und steckt die Energie lieber in Dein Hobby, für die 50 Leute, denen Deine Kunst wirklich gefällt!! ;-)

I see a lot of great artists have commented now :-) Part of what you say is true. Lot of comments is not the same as great work. But as in real live people have to know you before they notice you. So you must share things within this community (Posts, comments etc) to get noticed. A lot of work. I'm not an professional, making pictures just for fun. So I'm not that worried about comments etc. By the way. Though some of your pictures are great, I never commented on your art, because it is not the style I like. It is to artificial for my taste. But that doesn't mean others won't like it.

Well Dirk, looks like you opened a can of worms here, lol I hope you calmed down and realize we don't get paid for this and it's supposed to be fun for us but so many have made it a competition. If they got rid of the Fav's you'd see the comments go way down, IMHO. Anyways, hope you stay buddy.

Da mein Englisch nicht wirklich sehr gut ist, schreibe ich heute auf Deutsch. Zuerst einmal, finde ich es sehr schön wenn andere Künstler meine Werke anschauen und auch kommentieren. Ich mache diese Bilder, weil es mir wirklich Spaß macht und mich erfüllt. Natürlich fühlt man sich bestätigt und gut, wenn man viele Kommentare auf ein Bild erntet oder viele Künstler micht auf ihre Favorite Artists Liste setzen, aber das ist nicht alles. Ich bin nun auch erst seit kurzem wieder hier und habe wieder intensiv mit dem Rendern begonnen. Viele Künstler hier inspirieren mich mit ihren fantastischen Werken, so dass ich den Ehrgeiz entwickle auch immer besser zu werden. Einige Techniken schaue ich mir sicherlich auch ab, man lernt ja nie aus. Ich verwende täglich mindestens 2 Stunden darauf durch die "what's new" Liste zu gehen und mir die Bilder, die mir gefallen anzuschauen und zu kommentieren. Wie gesagt, mein Englisch ist nicht wirklich so gut, so dass manchmal die Kommentare etwas eintönig ausfallen, da ich ein wenig Angst habe mich beim Schreiben zu blamieren. Ich versuche in den Bildern immer das gute zu sehen und auch das hervorzuheben. Ich bin eine derjenigen, die in kurzer Zeit die ArtCharts hochgeklettert ist. Aber hast du mal daran gedacht, dass es auch daran liegen könnte, dass ich als "Neuling" anfangs mehr Leute auf ihre FavArtists Liste adden, weil sie mich vorher nicht kannten. Es ist schwieriger wenn man bereits 1000 Leute hat, die einen Künstler geaddet haben, neue Künstler zu finden die einen adden, als wenn man vielleicht nur 5 oder 10 Künstler hat auf deren Liste man steht.

My friend, you are in my Fav because i like your art and nothing else, and i must agree with you, i'm in the same boat, not the best artist, not the worst, but the ammount of comments/favs comes into that sick symbiosis of mutual comments and favs "payments" and this was with the top 20 and is with the art charts and this will be the same until Rendo give us the same oportunity to make a fav at the same rate of upload an image (one per day) at least this will easy the happy fav finger. We must reck that there are some real top artists that are in the top marks, i no wonder if (per example)Toxic shot an image it will be in the top ones in a snap, or Raven, or antje, etc. True also that i discovered real masterpieces with 5 comments or less, impressive! The same as you, i have no too much comments and favs because i have no time and i dont want to comment and fav every image around, just the ones i think they worth in artistic merits, no matter if i know or i dont know the artist. The good side here is the fact that the few comment i have comes real important to me, are honest and valuable! you should ignore the numbers and just post for the same reason you started, for the joy of creating your world and sharing to the ones want it.

I have been working with graphics programs for over 24 years. Some of my artwork is in big name greeting card software sold in almost every big store in the world. Some of my work was in PC magazine. I love photos, fractals, and graphics made in Poser, Vue, and Bryce. I didn't have the great programs back then as I have today. Todays programs are so much better compared to the programs back then. Some people might not have all the newest programs to work with. When I look at someones work, I like to look at what program the person is working with and how well they utilize what they have. Please realize that any picture you post, very quickly moves many pages down because of so many people uploading artwork. Your comments to other peoples work simply gets you noticed by other people that might have missed your pictures. Thank you for commenting on my artwork and letting me have a chance to see your artwork. Please don't give up on renderosity or the people. It is what it is both good and bad.
