Description

Lets pretend! LOL. You all arrived at my house early one morning, I made you all bacon butties and a good cup of tea! We walk the beach for a few hours in glorious sunshine, cameras in hand. We repair to this little hostelry on King Street, down Bay. What would you choose to drink? I already know what some of you would choose!!! They do tea and coffee too but the Landlord grumps when he has to make it ;-) Have a wonderful evening all. I thank you for looking. Hugs. Diane

Thank you all for comments. LOL @Firesnuffer, Dear Manning we call a sandwich a "buttie" in Yorkshire! So grilled bacon on bread or a bread bun is a "bacon buttie". Very tasty too. I a make a mean one! Hugs. Di.

Oh how funny that bench is. The downhill slope is compensated fine in the building but sitting on the bench would have you tilted in a most uncomfortable way. :-) Wonderful shot, very comfortable and homey.

Thank you very much it's going to have to be a pint or three of Theakstons Old Peculier. For those who don't it. A rich, dark and smooth tasting beer with unequalled flavour. Brewed using the traditional Fuggle hop, Old Peculier is the best known beer and has a large and enthusiastic following all over Britain and around the world. ‘The legend in a bottle!’ Thanks Di, This will go into virtual favourites and may well become a real favourite pub next time I'm in the Bay.

What a quaint little place. I guess I'd have a soda of some kind since alcohol triggers migraine:( Although I would prefer a spot of tea. And I'm glad you explained about those "bacon butties" lol..I love this shot though it looks like a great place to met up with friends. Chocolate hugs:0)bonita

I'll place my order now for a glass of lager (if daytime) or a glass of vodka and lemonade, slice but no ice (if in the evening!). You can take me to this quaint little pub when I come to visit Di, but only after a magnificent bacon buttie or two - a splash of HP too please!! Fantastic shot my dear friend - I can just imagine the two of us on that bench having a laugh and watching time pass us by!! Hugs. xx

Oh! - this is such a treat for the eyes! I love our old English country inns and this one looks very welcoming and the company is great! Brandy and American on the rocks for me - providing we've finished walking! Glad I've got my walking shoes on - what with the cobblestones and that steep looking hill, I'm glad I didn't wear heels! Where to next?
