Cropped from a larger photo, my little Nikon Coolpix S4 will only zoom in so far. Thought this might be a little different for July!
Thanks to all of you, for looking at the previous post, "Marbles", proof that I still have all mine, LOL! And thanks for all the faves on this one! And the comments, wow!

The heart touched by an apparent distress, can be due to the climate where with the loss of a mother incited you to fix them for eternity. Without knowing what these sparrows became, what a beautiful adventure to make them re-appear on carpet of wadding always such an interdependent!!!

Not so far away from us here in Sweden. We have no smow but lots and lots of rain. Adorable shot!

a very nice little shot.

Poor dears. Can you imagine what it's like for them at night, with high wind factor? Lots of atmosphere in this photo. The fence is just right, too.

A wonderful capture, Rita. All feathers puffed out against the cold. So glad they got some much needed warmth. Hugs for you and the wee birdies too ;-) Diane.

Poor cute birdies, they all look fatty because they are very cold, and open their feathers a lot. I also have sparrows at my garden with their tiny babies and they are the whole day with their beaks open because they are really hot, about 30º, 35º every single day since June. So I feed them and have a small bowl with fresh water. They are my dear friends, he he ;O)

I love English Sparrows. They are so feisty and pert. Excellent capture. Bunny

This is darling!!When it's hot we want it to cool down and when it's cold we want it to warm up. I think it's easier to cool down(point me to some wter) than it is to warm up.

pretty little sparrows and refreshing to see some snow

Awwwww! You'll be proud, Rita...lol...I'm trying very, very hard to focus on the light...the warmth they're gathering, their little bodies so adorable, all puffed out...I sometimes can hardly endure the potential other thoughts...not where the smallest amongst us are concerned, especially. So, nope, not going there. Here's to warmth and softness..and a sweet and precious capture so, so well done (and apologies for my lagging comments of late) :)

Wonderful image!!

A lovely shot of these cute little fellows though they probably need a hot water bottle as they look very cold.

Oooh..perfect..

That's a pretty neat shot. Makes me miss the snow just a bit. Except for the occasional rain shower here, it is sunny 365 days a year. Nice but you do miss the snow, because as your picture shows there is definitely beauty there.
