Description

Here is the destination of our hike. This waterfall drops about 100 ft (30 m) onto a rocky base rather than into a splash pool. I could have gone behind it, but after the Cooper Spur excursion, it just didn't seem worth the effort. Maybe next time. :-)

Beautiful photo. Seems strange for the falls not to be falling into a pool. Looks like it was worth the hike.

Oh wow. This was totally worth the wait! What a beautiful place. I love that sheer drop, and the hollow behind the falls. Gorgeous capture, my friend!

I love the pov. It catches how the water falls into the rocky hole. Marvelous!

Ohhhhhhhhh, what a lovely 'bridal veil' waterfall! Does the lack of a splash pool mean that it is a relatively new fall and the water has not had time to erode a basin? The vertical walls on the shelf are so barren, not mossy like the lower ones. Thanks for sharing this very interesting sight :)
