G'day All! Well here is my 100th upload :)I know its a little washed out on the left but these guys are quick when on the run & between a wrestling my way to the front from a bunch of school kids I think it came out ok lol. This one ran up to the glass, posed just for a second then took off again. This is a Frilled Neck Lizard which is one of our lizard species we have here in Australia. The frill on him spans out to make it look bigger & threatening when confronted. Well once again thank you for your comments on my last upload "Time To Sit & Pose" and the last 98 uploads of mine.. Hi Shane. Congratulations on your 100th. This is great. Yes there is a bit of overexposure, but I think it works in this case. The white frame makes it balanced somehow...That was a great touch. Hope all is well with you...and again, my very best wishes on this landmark occasion. -M :^)

A very superior lizard, the centre of attention is the upper part so the lighter section really has no bad effect

He's placed himself perfectly for a 35mm portrait mode capture, must have been listening to photographers over the years and knows the score! Lovely shot!

I think the overexposure works in this as it implies the bright sun, high heat these guys like. Nicely captured and a great post for your happy 100th!
