Description

During my travel in Thailand in November 2006 I saw a show in which this enchanting little faeric woman was one of the prominent artist. Therefore, friends, it is my SECOND butterfly post! The first one was Butterflies 1, Red butterflies, for Claywoman, that I posted on December 30th in the Poser section. I shall post new human butterflies later, 2D drawings but nice to see! Techdata : Nikon D70 with Nikkor 4-5.6/70-300 ED, hand-held, ISO 800, combined available light with TTL flash (in fact the camera’s flash is very week but improves the modeling quality of the pict), aperture-priority automatic. First pict F=70mm, f/8 at 1/60s hand-held. Second one F=180mm, same exposure, hand-held also. The photo above was slightly too short on the right, so I had to create a band of 30 pixels (out of the 2000 given by the CCD), with the Clone Stamp Tool, to get some extra space in front of the dancer’s left wing, and also I used the Sharpener Tool on the dancer’s. Both picts received an Adjustment Layer Photo Filter Wratten 80 at 30% intensity (an improvement appeared since Psd CS2), plus a Curve Layer. The bottom one was easier to adjust… but does not figure the same sweet dancer. I dedicate these picts to two artists: astro66 (Andrew Leighton), in homage to his enchanting nature photographs, and to Liltawen, who on 2007/03/19 published "Thai dancer" in the Vue section, a cute little woman in front of a Buddhist temple very well modelled.
