Description

The hatchling peered out of the egg remnnts in the old birthing chamber in apprehension. Her mother had just left, following the ancient call of her kind to follow the new seasons spring breeze to the mating grounds,the eternal battle of blood and lust would see only the strongest males and most intelligent females survive to mate. Last years hatchlings would feast on the remains of any who fell from the skies in the brutal fremzy. That left Kishala only bout an hour to scramble away from this haven that, without her mother, would now be a trap. She was fair game to any predator, draconic or lesser beasts until she grew stronger by preying on smaller creatures than herself. Kishala grasped the edges of the egg, scented the air and steeled herself to survive this first of many challenges. With a flick of her wings she was gone, evading the two reptoloids outside with ease. ~The cave is a montain terrain turned on its side, The ice columns are symmetrical lattices played around with and inverted amd the 'dragon egg' was an ice column that went 'whoops' so the little Daz Milldragon2 got a gig in the scene and stole the whole show!! I did a clearer close up shot of Kishala for the thumb as the lighting of the main pic was a bit soft to give her a lot of detail. Thanks for looking,any comments are welcome and appreciated.
