Description


The only Morris dance side in Scotland,perform at Findhorn. The team are based in Banchory near Aberdeen and have just returned from a tour of Ireland.

Great photograph and a good look at their historical clothing. BTW, the first time I saw a Morris dance group perform was at an arts festival in Norwalk, CT sometime in the 1970's. They performed using split logs (firewood) instead of wands as most others I have seen. When you see people waving split logs at each other, it makes an indellible impression. ... if you were wondering ... No, those logs connected only with other logs -- not the dancers.
