Description

Hey people. I've had this scene knocking around for a while and finally got it rendered off so I thought I'd show. Not much to say really, it's my guitar. The wire didn't really turn out very well, but that seems to be mainly a result of my DOF settings in photoshop (using Zdepth). I think it turned out okay...not great, but okay Let me know what you all think. Thanks for looking.

Niely done! At first look, I thought it was a photo - I hadn't even bothered to look at what gallery this had actually been posted in. Not a huge fan of Les Paul's myself (dunno why, really), but I still can appreciate a beautiful guitar.

The chamfer on the pickups is a little sharp. You might try a relax modifier just to smooth them out a bit. I haven't had my les paul for many years, but shouldn't the humbuckers have two rows of magnets? Nice work on the mother of pearl texture.

Nice stuff Chris. I remember this from couple of years ago! Cool rework of it! I like! I cant comment too much as Im not sure about the details of a Les Paul! Hdr seems good possibly some things may look a little too plastic like the cable etc. Only very minor stuff really good bro!

Super job. I love the realism, because it is really a fabulous job of modeling and rendering, but I like what you did with the POV and depth of field. Cool.
