Description
So (with Kai's help) I would call this a decent attempt at HDR. Although from 1 shot and using tone mapping, I think it's not bad. Could be better but still not bad.
Kai also alerted me to being nominated for AOM. WOW, I'm very pleased.
What do I think my chances are? Minimal. Honestly I'm really shocked because I create waves with being too honest and don't spend enough time on the net to make friends. So I say thanx to all who've voted for me.
And good luck to all others and well done to the winner.

Awesome shot and good attempt at the HDR here I do like the results but think the sky doesn't quite fit in this one (bit 'heavy') but still an awesome compo with that boat... I'm jealous LOL and yes congrats on the nomination ;)

A fine example of hdr Vera - I think you did great here. I think the real fun is going out and looking for situations hdr is great for and shooting with that intent. I wish you luck on your nomination.

Well I think your tone mapping has created a very dramatic feel to this brilliantly composed capture. I wish you all the luck for the AOM award, you are most definitely in fine company but you DO deserve to be there!! And remember, honesty is always the best policy so never change that for anyone!!
