Description

this church was finded in the 1700's. I do not know if the building is that old. As you see there graves right up next to the church I never saw this. I read about it. Most the time it some one that give a lot of money to be bury there. I did see one of the top prist that work there was one of them bury next to the church. I took a photo of the oldest grave I ever saw 1817. It in French and I like to know what it reads. Plus I saw the date and how it was writen on the grave. Wonder too if this the way the French still write the date like this or is this a old way of writeing dates? I know that the way of writeing chages and meaning of words too as time goes on. just look at a dictionary of the 1860's and one now. thanks for looking and comments

Very cool, I think you are right, I think those that gave big chunks of money to the church got to be buried against the church walls like this, kind of like a real place of honor. I'm not sure how far back the graves go in our area in some of the old cemetaries, I should go and look around, take some photos, I love old cememteries! Always wanted to buried in one I see along a highway to where we used camp.
