Description

This image is the result of many hours of rendering and 3delight crashes- 6 times I rendered this each taking 6 hours and every time a crash at 80% complete, it was not until I had stripped the scene to the bone and picked a POV with little ground showing that I completed a render. I got there in the end :) Credit to: Stonemason for the derelict factory Sanctum Art for the Armoured vehicle Dreamlight for Light Dome Pro (The LE version would not have provided enough lights to make this image possible)

It's a wonderful scene and worth all the time you put in. It seems a tad long for rendering in DAZ. Check your settings for the gloss and reflection, if they are too high it can take forever to render. Also make sure you safe immediately after adding another object. I have had crashes when I start to add more objects and then try to render, but if I save first, then render it seems to cure the problem.

Try rendering by layers. Build the full scene and save it. Now delete all items in the foreground and render. Reload the scene and delete all the items in the background. Use TGA 32bit alpha settings. Blend the image back together in PS or Gimp. Really nice camera angle.

DLG - wonderful scene! I love the lighting and shadows. You've got way more patience than I'll ever have! I couldn't have stuck with it that long, but the results were certainly worth it.

DLG- - -> Excuse me, gotta sit back and take this one in slowly... Man, this looks so real it's amazing! Changing the angle might have been a sacrifice to the shadow detail, true, but the glow through the windows is magnificent. Fantastic piece of art!
