You have put so much expression into those eyes, very compelling. I can see a style in this similar to your squirrel which I really like, it has more of a graphic feel to it, not as "photorealistic" as your collie, more personal.

at first this struck me as an excellent photo.. then when i scrolled down, i saw that you had painted this.. i am very impressed with your technique!! the face the eyes and the fur is wonderful!!

It's all about the eyes. You really captured the life of the subject. Beautiful. Such a playful and intelligent look.
