Description
This is the wind farm at Coal Clough, on the Long Causeway. There are 24 Turbines on the site, I had to travel a fair distance to get them all in shot, I was about half a mile away for this one.

Excellent! They may be an eyesore, but a powerstation is even worse, and at least these are easier to remove! Yep, you're right though, definately no balloons! LOL!

I disagree, I don't think they are an eyesore! Would ppl rather those, or a powerplant with all it's smoke etc? Great shot.

west Texas has 1000's as California. I drove by a place that builds them and until you see one on the ground it is very hard to realize the hugeness of the blades.lots of people have them and sell back the extra energy that they do not consume. impressive capture

Our new windfarm put into operation last winter had us power back within hr. not days as some on the west side of the state. Great capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
