Description

Punaguy and I had made plans to revisit Waipio Valley to capture the sunrise. After that, Brave Terry, Carrie and I would scale the walls/donkey trail on the other side of the "Valley" while Dave would hang around the surfing area. Carrie is a lady hiker who had walked with us to the lava flow and been to Mauna Kea with me. As for my sunrise, I was just in the wrong place at the right time...ugh! Dave was at a better vantage point and looking forward to see his work. Aloha and thank you for viewing

This may not be what you intended to see, but I really like what it is. It looks like the beginning of a wonderful day; I love that one ray peeking out. I went and took a look at your "Valley" post. I remember that trail, and there was no way I was going to try to climb up there, especially without knowing what was on the other side. I'd hate to have to walk back down and then up the Waipio road again. :~) I'm looking forward to the rest of this story, Eroll. Take us on another journey.
