You know what this reminds me of? When I was a little girl (and that was longer ago than I'd care to admit), they sold clear marbles at the craft store. They were larger than regular marbles. You'd boil them in water and then throw them into ice water. They would crack and crystallize inside without breaking the marble. I loved them, they were so beautiful. And this has brought back that memory for me. Lovely work....almost tactile.
