ahhh, yes...the Eastern Diamondback. I knew this to be a diamondback from the thumb but couldn't tell which type until I clicked in. Very nice shot so typical of an irritated rattler. Nice tail movement shown.

Easter DBs are one of my favs, was lucky enough to be able to see one up close in the wild but not lucky enough to have a camera with me. Great shot.

Nice diamondback,an old one at that,at least 7 rattles showing. The young ones have the most potent venom.
