Great image of an outstanding technical achievement that was sadly grounded long before it's time was due. I saw G-BOAC on her way into Manchester on her last flight - quite a sad moment!

Exellent rendering. I checked with the NTSB site and that in three cases tires have failed and have been ingested into the engines. The last one kicked up a steel part that pierced the fuel tank.
