Description

The beautiful words of a poet I found online inspired me to do a tribute to her poem titled as above. She notes that she wrote this "at the beach, craving and calling the sun to come out. It was another long week of rain." Amber graciously allowed me to display her poetry on my post ... I only used the first six lines in the picture -- the entire poem follows. Since her words vividly depict her desire for the warmth of the sun, I chose to use the "vivid color" setting on my camera ... It did a heckuva job on the sky and ocean. And yes, the sun worshiper dressed all in black is yours truly... (love that 10 sec. delay) I hope you enjoy. "Craving the Sun's Warm Embrace" --- by Amber Moonstone 6/12/06 Oh, you light of warmth, shine down through those heavy clouds, Spread your warmth and illuminating light down on me this day, so that I will be empowered with the ability to regain clarity, balance, and peace. I crave your sunshine, I need your gentle warm embrace, shining upon my face. I still feel your warming glow, here, down below; through those masking clouds. Please, Sunlight won't you come out?

Very nice...I'm jealous of you at the ocean.... I wish I could crave something, I'm having a hard time moving through a grieving process.

Wow! This is SO superb. What an incredible aligning of the stars in both verse, scene, and technology (I love the 10 second delay too!). I give this my *'s.
