Description

This little guy is the boss of my hummingbird feeder. He chases the other ones away. This is the best shot I've gotten of these elusive little guys.

Fabulous shot! I love the hint of a wing there! I know it's hard to slow them down enough to pose!

I agree, it must be really hard to "freeze" them in a shot. So tiny and fast. Fantastic shot I must say. I love it. Aloha

A beautiful shot of a super little bird. I am feeding our birds here at the moment and we get little wax eyes which are very small and some of them are quite feisty. I just wish my camera took better close ups as I can't get a descent shot of them.

I've never seen one of these in real life, only on tv, but I can imagine how difficult it is to get a decent picture of them! Superb capture!

Absolutely fantastic shot, you can even see his tongue. I had to give up on the feeders because they all fight too much and drain them dry in a day. They like my flowers though. :=)
