Description

I stared into the campfire, mesmerized by the dancing flames. Unable to sleep, I watched for hours until the flames burned themselves out and all that was left were glowing embers. I watched in fascination as the embers glowed, deep into the night, until I finally fell asleep. When I awoke at daybreak they were gone and all that was left was a pile of ashes. uf

Oh wow! The longer you look at it, the more you see what's being referred to here in your explanation! This is really good work, and the light gray lines in it remind me of smoke, while I love the little lights you've got in there as well. Very strong color mix, and the title is so appropriate! Bravo!

It is seldom I am a complete loss for words. But this image is so striking in all aspects there is nothing I can say that does it justice. It is however going straight into my favorites file. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful creation.
