Description
This way cutie was found eating on my back porch. He/she was kind enough to allow me to photograph him/her while eating. Don't you just hate that when you are eating, getting interrupted that is? Don't know what kind it is or if it is a juvenile. If you do, I would love to know.

I thought female downy woodpecker as well, but not too young as the beak is quite well developed, as someone else mentioned. wonderful shot! We've never had one go to the feeder, they always go to the suet.
