Description
This is one who just came out. I started in Artrage and painted the orange background and leaves. Then I added a layer for the butterfly. I took her into PS and gave her Sumi-e brush strokes and then chrome and plastic wrapped her. I added shadows/highlights by adding layers and using Polar Coordinates tuning them down to about 28 and then making opacity lower.
Hints on how to improve technique are appreciated. Thoughts on what she is doing are fun! Thanks for looking! K

Very interesting transluscent effect. Distort, or blue, the background more where we see through the wing.
