Description

Aren't elven men just so cute? This is a followup to the portrait of the elven woman I did. My main problem with this image was debating whether or not to throw on the surface texture. I think it adds such a rich quality and really brings everything together, but I don't want to become dependant on it. I think for my next couple renders I'll avoid using it. Hair is entirely postwork, along with some minor level adjusting and blurring.

Yummy looking character, I just love the nose and facial structure. I think the texture really works. I almost always add at least a tiny bit of noise to my images.

This is a great looking character with eyes that can look right through you. I think the stubble adds to the "realism" of the pic.

Great job. What an excellent character!! This guy has real personality. The texture looks good to me ... but then I use that kind of painted look a lot too :) Actually I really like this picture all round.

I've never seen Michael look more handsome or more intriguing. Marvelous face work - and the image itself is stunning.
