Description

my 1st foray into sports photography saw me at Knockhill race track , just started chucking it down , this brave soul has just come out of a nasty right hand hairpin and is, as can be seen by the tyres, about to get the front end up and not exactly upright just yet ...amazing how riders can judge , even on a greasy wet track with dry tyres, just exactly how hard they can nail it ( I have lots of shots of blank track ;P ) the day produced a lot of blurred and badly exposed shots ... the eternal shame ! although this one gave me the happenstance of nice parralel lines I`ll be doing more of this when I get the chance, it`s opened a whole new area of pain and discomfort for me hope you enjoy it ... i`m off to buy a huge umbrella and see if hubble can lend me a lens or 2

Nice shot mate. It is very hard work, bikes and cars travel very quick. Just got to fiddle with your settings and take it off auto focus or pre take it on that part of the track where you expect the machine to be. Good luck with it.
