Description

Chapel of St. Jan Nepomucky (st. John of Nepomuk) in Vyklantice - Czech Republic. Build in 18th century. John of Nepomuk (1340 – March 20, 1393) is a national saint of Bohemia. In his fully developed legend he was the confessor of the Queen of Bohemia and refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. He has been made into the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods. Thanks for viewing and comments.
