Description
This is what we English term a Public House or just plain Pub. This one is situated near the Lancashire / Yorkshire border or county line. Its approx 1100ft asl(above sea level) and it is where the Pennine Way crosses over the A58 between Littleborough(Lancs) and Halifax(Yorks).
It is a very well used watering hole for thirsty travellers. It also sells "Theakstons Real Ale" a quite strong beer, as well as Fine wine and good food.
Thanks for dropping in and for any comments you care to leave.
May the sun shine down on you where ever you are.
Have a great weekend.

What a wonderful example of one of our fine English pubs. Not a real ale girl myself - I'm a bacardi babe!!! Great shot!

One thing I miss since moving to America is a real pub. Dark but cozy, with a variety of beers that don't taste like diluted gnat pee and a place that serves steak and kidney pudding with chips and peas. Ok, I'm a little home sick now.

I bet the brew is cold and delicious food.
