Description
Another b-day gift for a friend. Unlike my last image, I absolutely adore how this one turned out. It proved to be a huge lesson in patience (something I'm NOT good at), but I think it was worth it. Seriously, it's been a long time since I've liked something I've made this much. I hope you do too! ;p I hated cropping, resizing, and compressing it to post it here. Such a shame to have to do so. :/

Wonderful composition. Excellent color and detail. Even better, perhaps, is that there's a hint of movement; the flames and the ponytail, and the vagabond princess is caught in mid-stride in a startled posture. Perhaps the dragonfly's wings could flutter a bit and the wings of the raven could be spread. Definitely not a typical mannequin still-life. A favorite.
