Description

This images originated from a chance comment in the Critique forum by Speed44 that I should think about creating and image that concentrated on the Baobab Tree. After some thought and a 11 hour render this is the end result. Thanks for the inspiration. All in Vue 6 Inf with a few tweaks in CS3.

That's quite beautiful! The tree is beautifully displayed, the light is great and the lepard (or panther? lol) is really well done :)

Wow - I'm just catching up a bit on my critiques. This is very good. I adore your trees. The animal and the water look very good to me.

The tree looks very good, as does the Leopard, I also like the water ripple, not to sure about the landscape.

What caught my eye here is a white rock to the right mid point of the image. It looks like a little boy sitting there ! Most interesting.

Like the overall image. Good work. But... could you try to add some light up front, so that the 'cat' isn't that dark? And maybe add some geographical relief, instead a endless flat plain? Otherwise, nice work. Models are great. Love the pool of warm light in the top of the tree and as mentioned before, the play of light on the trunk. Maybe soften the shadows a bit?
