Description

Today I made a long walk in a woodland where I never was before. It's a protected area since 1939 and all looks very wild and natural there. I made a small series of shots, this is the first. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for viewing!

A wonderful weekend to all!

What I love about forest that is left alone is that there is so much to see. Everything is wild and overgrown, natural, as you said. Dead trees are left to rot and nourish the soil for the existing trees, for the undergrowth, and for new trees. Their is a completely different eco system in a natural forest that is left to it's own devices then in one that is constantly groomed and cleaned. This is a wonderful shot, and I am glad there are areas that this protected left in our world.
