Description

This obviously has been retired for quite some time now. Nestled in a thick patch of Sumac, it is one of many in line for restoration. I want to thank you guys for being so wonderful; the support and encouragement you give me is a powerful driving force. Hugs to you all :) I hope you're having a great weekend; Minnesota is finally seeing cooler temperatures and a few drops of drizzle. Still hoping for a downpour. We could use it. Thanks for stopping by!!! Shari

I'll bet she did some fine work in her day... Very interesting textures and the contrast of the full-of-life greenery and the a-little-past-its-prime metal works well. Love your composition for this shot.

I think I know why it was abandoned... that seat would not have been friendly to the bum after a few hours work! This is indeed an excellent shot!

Rustic and yet majestically captured. May it soon be restored to the glory your capture shows. ;)

since this work is excellent, too much framing adds next to nothing, I am afraid

Very nice. It looks like you cut your way through miles of dense brush with a machete and stumbled across an ancient idol. I almost expect to see Indiana Jones in the picture. Although I'm sure it wasn't quite so dramatic, I will keep that idea for effect.
