Description
Another shot from the Pickering World War II
re-enactment day I attended.
Going from left to right, here is my idea of what they are thinking:
(1) "These four are really getting on my nerves!"
(2) "Where is the horoscope page!"
(3) "Mmm. I just fancy a boiled sweet!"
(4) "I'll swat that fly if it comes near me
again!"
(5) "I can't find my hankie anywhere!"
I am off on my holidays tomorrow for 2 weeks for a well-earned rest. Take care of yourselves while I'm away. See ya!

Love the picture, fantastic thoughts but must dissagree with the one in the center, I think she's getting the gas mask out for obvious reasons. I love all your 40's stuff, I wish I had been there for the re-enactment. I'm planning a trip on the NYR as soon as I can. Thanks for sharing these lovely photo's with us and have an enjoyable two weeks away. 5+++++

It's a long way to Tipperary, for sure! Perfect captions you conjured up for each of the doughty old gals, Eileen! But what's with those leiderhosen stockings? They look they're going hiking up in the Alps. Oh well, with those expressions, I would probably rub them the wrong way the moment we met. In any event, wonderful colors, POV, and sharp clarity in this memorable capture!
