Description

USS Saratoga CV-3 with 888 feet of length and a 100 foot beam width was originally laid down as a battle cruiser in 1920. She originally mounted 8 eight inch guns around the island structure, which had they ever been used in combat would have torn up the flight deck, eventually they were replaced with 5 inch dual purpose guns. The black stripe on the stack housing distinguished the carrier from her sister ship the USS Lexington CV-2. In 1936 she received her complement on Grumman F3F fighters, the last naval bi-plane and the predecessor of the mono winged F4F Wildcat, they remained in service until 1941. That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. nice pov. Maybe the water texture could be tweaked so the waves look a bit smaller to give the sense of scale on the cruisers. other than that good work !

Drag is that strange thing which is enonormous when encountered in vaccuum and negligible when encountered in pressure. These birds with their exposed retractable wheels point to the 737 with only seals and no landing gear doors even in the jet age. To go to an aircraft carrier from a batteleship one must travel from a Spanish to an Italian design. The word that sticks in the mind as this occurs is Hotchkiss.
