'I have it too!', the thought caused him to recoil from the joystick and slump back in his seat. His last thoughts brought a smile to his lips even as his internal organs turned to pain-filled jelly, 'At least I didn't go back to infect the past.' The time machine sat for decades, keeping the virus in perfect stasis, but there were no humans left to push the joystick's button.
