The way I see it, Barry Bonds does not deserve an asterisk (*) beside his record.
Barry was always great--right from his rookie year.
His dad was Bobby Bonds, who was a great homerun hitter, and his Godfather was Willie Mayes.
It's not like Barry got good overnight.
