Hello all!
Well, I was trying to sleep but couldn�t cause my dog Candi was snoring loudly on my bed (lol) so I thought I would upload a pic since all my girls are off the comp hehe.
For the past three years we have gone to this beautiful beach in St Joe Michigan.
I never grow tired of it or taking pics of it. It�s a magical place, maybe to me cause I have fond childhood memories there when my Grandmother used to take me as a little girl. This particular day Mike, Chrissy and I had set out to go fishing on the pier ( Chrissy ,caught a huge 7 lb salmon on a friends boat the day before -that tasted amazing).
I knew she might grow board as we were going to be there all day so at the last minute threw her inner tube in my Mother's borrowed car. The fish were not biting and so after a few hours, I noticed the waves were growing stronger on the lake so walked her out to the beach and snapped this as she entered the waves fearless ( after all no sharks here like at the beaches at home). Mike remained faithful to his fishing post at the end of the pier ( you can barely just see him in this shot beyond the St Joe lighthouse). I liked the compo of this one so thought I put it up. Taken with my Canon rebel xt.

Just awesome!! Here in Sweden we have had almost no summer, just rain and winds. I have not bathed in the sea even once. So för me your silvery beach resembles heaven on earth!

Pretty choppy waves on a lake, but I've never seen the great lakes either??? This is a wonderful image especially with your daughter and your husband in the shot and top it off with your childhood memories, how could it get better????

While looking at this photo I was thinking where have I seen this lighthouse...I was amazed to find out it is in my home state..I have visited St. Joe often and this is a post card perfect shot!!..Nice work!!

Moke is small here but it set the photo too as to messure the size of the image . The girl at one place and Mike at the other . cool looking [oh Mike shows how big the light house is too.
