Description

Still at the lake. Now we were sitting in the shade of the trees enjoying the late afternoon breeze. This robin just flies in, and starts looking for worms. I grabbed my camera for this photo op. Unfortunately, It was a little dark and I could not get too close, So what I thought would be my best shot wasn't. (I am sad.. boohoo..lol.) I had the guy on top of that rock with a big ol' worm, but the focus wasn't right! This one turned out pretty good. (I think I need one of those bigger flash things to hook onto my camera...) I have been trying to get birds, and they aren't an easy subject! I was lucky this one flew right in and posed. Thanks for your comments, views, and suggestions on "Fulica Americana". Have a Tantalizing Tuesday! ~Hugs~

Still a nice shot. Wasn't that good of him to pose for you like that... I'm still trying to get good bird shots ... maybe someday soon.

From the looks of it, it must have been hatched this past spring. This is really a good shot. They are so nervous and shy it is hard to get one to turn your way. Mostly they will turn their back to you or fly off.

Sweet shot. I love Robins- they come by every day and get daringly close to eat dog food.
