Description

Just something i did while trying to deal with having 2 family members in Iraq now. If you do or don't support the war, that is cool but please support the men and women forced to be there for the rest of us. Charrio

OOH RAH! They have no politics, they have no hidden agenda, They have no other desire but to get the job done. In arena where most depictions of the War are negative, this is a welcome sight. To my Marine Cousins, SEMPER FI! To My Army Cousins, FIDO! To my Navy Brothers HOOYAH!! To my AirForce Cousins, Well, no fancy saying, but prayers are to you as well.

I pray for the protection of your family members and all the troops. My Son is in his 4th tour in Iraq and sees much progress. @turner..these families have loved ones in harms way..looks like the tin man has no heart. Get a life..or better yet just go away..post your bile on your own images. Leave the rest of us alone.

previous post "I'm NOT for the war, nor am I for what the troops represent or do. Because of these views many people seem to think that anti-war means pro 'dead soldier' which is not the case. Get out of Iraq, stay out of Iraq. Artistically I'm not a great fan of fox/mice humanesque illustrations. People with guns just don't look cute to me." @Wesley_Thomas : did you actually read my post? Me thinks not. 'Get a life', 'go away', 'post bile on your own images' Don't get personal now. I ALSO don't want family members killed. On EITHER side. I may disagree with the choice of occupation soldiers choose but that does not in any way make me want them to die!!! Tis not me that needs to get a life.

@Wesley Thomas Four tours, huh? Rummy promised us that this war would take "six days, six weeks ...I doubt six months". Direct quote. I'm a civilian, so perhaps you could tell me: How long is four tours? What percentage of Baghdad is secure? By secure I mean:"Explosion-Free". Which tour got that done? ...much progress"?? We fought the whole of World War II in less time than it's taken us to restore water, power, and any sort of order to EVEN ONE CITY of a country with no paid military opposition. 3700 dead Americans and counting. 140,000 dead Iraqis and counting. Four-Hundred-Fifty-Six billion($456,000,000,000) dollars and counting. And we're still patrolling(and dying in) the same streets...just like WEEK ONE. Only FIVE YEARS LATER and counting. Half of the provisional government quit. The other half is on vacation. The progress is dazzling! Turner supports a brand of humanity that includes your loved ones. And you spit on him. Classic.

I had to erase my last comment so I could repost.... While my friends,Turner and Jangled, disagree with me a lot on politics, I have to seriously agree with them here. We have exchanged thoughts and views and remained civil and friends. I respect their views as they are ones of ending war and starting a new peace. We all want the same outcome but we have different ways of getting there. Maybe we SHOULD learn from each other instead of trashing each other. I am for this war and I love and support my troops as my little brother IS one. But I am with my friends Turner and Jangled when I say end this soon and come home......no matter what our views, no one wants a war and dead friends and family.
