Description

I have NO idea what these things are REALLY called, so I will call them Danglies :) While hiking around our property, I saw these hanging all over some trees, those little 'danglies' blowing so gracefully in the gentle breeze; IT WAS PRETTY! And, so different! I had never seen them before. I could Google it, but what to search for ........... Danglies? I can only imagine WHAT Google would give me!!! LOL Anyway, I had to PW it to death, too, give it that shari-touch. :-/ Thanks for all your wonderful comments on yesterdays upload ... I appreciate the advice some gave, which I agree totally on (Dead space), as well as comments about over-doing my frames :) those comments help me a lot. So, THANK YOU! I may have overdone the frame in this one, but ...I'm willing to take my chances. Hope you all have a great day! Shari

Oh yes - this is the exotic sharilynius danglianus. I know it well. !!!??! Very cool. It looks like there was a flower cluster there, and all the petals dropped, leaving only the stamens. Beautiful effect!

LOL @ Danglies, very creative! You frame post work, highlighting the 3D aspect certainly is pleasing and makes the object very realistic as far as depth is concerned. Well done!

By golly, you've got the nicest set of danglies I've ever seen Shari!! But who would have thought that our innocent little girl would have brazenly shown her danglies to the whole world? Tsk, tsk, tsk... ;o) That being said, this is a very interesting capture and the postwork & frame were well worth your time. Bravo!

Wonderful shot. I too am curious about what this is. It must have been a beautiful sight to see them gently blowing with the breeze. The framing is perfect for this as far as I'm concerned.
